Commentary
George’s parentage:
George’s birth registration records his father as John Crozier, farmer, and his mother as Agnes Brewster.
George’s marriage registration records his father as John Crozier and his mother as Agnes Elizabeth Brewster. It specifies that John Crozier was born in Waterloo, Ontario.
In the 1891 census (Oakley, Muskoka), George Crozier, aged 7 months, is recorded as the son of John Crozier. John’s wife is Agnes.
In the 1901 census (Draper, Muskoka), George A Crozier, born 8 September 1890, is recorded as the son of John Crozier, born 10 July 1865 in Ontario. John’s wife is recorded as Elizabth A, born 3 July 1868 in Ontario.
In the 1911 census, George, born September 1890, is recorded as the son of John Crozier, born July 1865. John’s wife is Agnes E., born July 1868.
The informant for all three censuses was probably George’s father John.
There is also supporting DNA evidence that George was the son of John Crozier and Agnes Elizabeth Brewster. I am a paper-trail grandson of George, and I share DNA with a paper-trail granddaughter of George’s sister (and John and Agnes’s daughter) Mary Cresson.
The evidence for George’s parentage is sufficient.
