The date is given by Bridgeman (p. 48) and by Pryce (p. 44). Bartrum (Bleddyn ap Cynfyn 30) and Le Strange (p. 153) give 1310. The writ of diem clausit extremum was issued on 22 November (CIPM Edward II, volume 5, no. 269).

Eyton (10:274) gives a fragment of a deed in support: “Hawise promisit per assensum mariti sui quod cum frater suus, Dominus Hamo Extraneus, rediret a Terrȃ Sanctȃ licet ei intrare Manerium de Strattone in comitatu Salop; de consensu mariti sui Domini Griffini. Testibus, --Dominus Rogero Extraneo, Roberto fratre suo, Odone de Hodnet.” Cawley cites the Calendar of the Charter Rolls (Henry III, 1:266). Bridgeman (p. 24 fn 1 and ff.) gives further support.
