Relationships

Father: Zoltán, duke.

This relationship is given by Kristó and Makk. It is recorded by Constantine Porphyrogenitus [40], (“Zaltas had a son Taxis”).

Mother: unknown.

The Gesta Hungarorum gives her as the daughter of Menumorut, a Romanian ruler, but its reliability is debated.

Spouse: unknown.

The Gesta Hungarorum states that Taksony married a woman from the land of the Cumans, but this is anachronistic.
