Bond from Thomas Wood of Allesley, yeoman, and Henry Makepeace, junior, late of Chepyng Dassett', yeoman, to John Waid of Coventr', mercer, and Thomas Gregoree, in 100 marks, to be repaid by Michaelmas next, for merchandise bought by the said Thomas and Henry. Dated: 20 November, 29 Henry VIII. Signed: per me Toma Wod, Harry Makepeas Three red seals on tongues: i) a gateway flanked by towers ii) fragment; the letters R G iii) 2 fragments of the Coventry statute merchant seal Tie lost.
