The relationship is also given by Carr (1979, p. 146), who cites a deed of 1298 in which Madog Fychan ap Madog ab Iorwerth Goch of Creuddyn granted lands in Creuddyn and Porthaethwy to his son Madog. Madog ab Iorwerth Goch was rhaglaw of Dinorben in 1240-45, 1266-68, and 1268-1275 (Stephenson p. 120).
