This relationship is given by Suppe (ODNB), by Keats-Rohan (p. 250, p. 553), and by the Complete Peerage (7:677), which calls him Robert fitz Eustace.

Mother: Albreda de Lisours (died 1194).

This relationship is given by Suppe (ODNB), by Keats-Rohan (p. 250, p. 553), and by Wightman. It is recorded in the Blyth Priory Cartulary (no. 337).


Spouse: Alice, daughter of Alice de Vere and Roger fitz Richard of Warkworth (or Alice's first husband, Robert of Essex).

Robert of Essex is given by Suppe (ODNB), by Timson (p. xxxvi), and by the Victoria County History of Lancashire (1:299-300). Keats-Rohan (p. 250) gives Alice's parents as Roger of Warkworth and Adelisa de Vere. The Complete Peerage (7:677) does not give parents for Alice.
