Ann’s father is named in her baptism record. The identification is supported by the will of Ann’s husband, Henry, who mentions her brother, Richard Willets, in his will. (Richard was another child of Richard Willets, baptized in Rowley-Regis.)

Mother: Elizabeth Dudley.

The wills of Elizabeth's father and step-father, and parish register entries, make clear that Elizabeth Dudley was the wife of Richard Willets.

Spouse: Henry Payton. Married 3 May 1636 in Dudley (St Edmund’s).

The marriage is recorded in the parish registers. Henry mentions his wife, Ann, and his brother-in-law, Richard Willets, in his will. Ann's father Richard Willets mentions his son-in-law Henry Payton in his will.
