In the name of god amen the tenthe of Nouember 1621 I John Deely of luppole within the p[ar]ish of halesowen and with in the dioces of worcester beinge sicke of body but of p[er]fect memory thankes be god there fore doe or daine and make this my last will and testam’t in manner and forme following First and principally I give and bequethe my soule inthe hands of the Almighty god my heavenly father hoping and stedfastly be leavinge that by and through the bitter deathe and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to have my sinnes for given and to rest with him [in] his heavenly kingdome for ever and my body to be buried within the Cristian buriall of halesowen in such decent [place] there as shall be thought fitt at the discreation of my executor And as touching the disposition of my worldly goods I give an bequeath as followeth It’m I give and bequeth unto Richard Deely my sonne all that my Cottage or Tenement with all and singuler the app[u]rtennes lyeng and being in the Tennure or occupacon of one John Moore To have and to hold the same unto the said Richard Deely and to his heires and assignes for ever for and under such rents as is now due paiable to the Chefe lord of the [...] and my will is that my said sonne Richard Deely shall give out of his house in halesowen to my daughter Bridgett xls yearly duringe the life of my said daughter and to be paid unto her by my said son Richard and his assignes wh[...]and as she shall have occasion to use the same att the discreate Judgment & [...] of the said Richard and his assignes.
