Relationships

Father: William Harbar.

Mother: Mary.

The 1628 Lighthorne baptism is the only one in the right neighbourhood in the right time period. The will of William Harbar indicates that his son William (from the 1628 baptism) is still alive in 1666 and has children. Likewise the 1672 will of Mary Harbar. The will of William and Mary's son John shows that he had land in Harbury.

Spouse: probably Sarah Webb.

The 1692 will of Dorcas Archer of Harbury leaves her wearing apparel to her sister Sarah Herbert "if she be living", and if not, then to her children. Dorcas was the widow of Robert Archer, gentleman of Harbury. Robert Archer and Dorcas Webb were married 6 April 1641 in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Children:

(The children except for William appear in the parish registers. The 1708 will of John Mills of Harbury mentions his wife Dorcas, and makes his "brothers" William and Thomas Harbert his overseers.)

Richard Harbert (baptized 11 August 1652 in Harbury)

Mary Harbert (baptized 7 December 1654 in Harbury)

Dorcas Harbert (baptized 13 February 1658/9 in Harbury) married John Mills of Harbury.
