Commentary
There are two baptisms of a John Chaddock in Winwick in the period: a 1664 baptism to Matthew Chaddock and a 1667 baptism to Mr Thomas Chaddock.
Mr Thomas Chaddock was of Chaddock Hall in Tildesley, and the rest of his children were baptized in Leigh. His first son, John, was baptized in Winwick probably because his wife was from Haydock.
Matthew Chaddock was from Ashton, which was the residence of the John of this page. Therefore, I think Matthew is the correct father.
The Wigan register records Matthew’s marriage to Anne Penkeyman.
