This relationship is given by Pätzold. It is recorded in the Genealogia Wettinensis (p. 226). Pätzold notes that it has been suggested, but not proven, that Dietrich was a grandson of Burkhardt I of Swabia.

Spouse: Thiedburga, a daughter of Dietrich of the Nordmark.

This relationship is given by Pätzold (p 13). It is recorded in the Genealogia Wettinensis (p. 227).

Dietrich (died 19 November 1034), count of Merseburg, married Mathilde von Meissen.
