Commentary
Ann’s parentage:
In her 1659 will, Margaret Wilson of Trefeglwys made her son-in-law Thomas Hall her executor.
In his 1655 will, David Bennet of Llanidloes made his father-in-law Robert Wilson and brother-in-law Thomas Hall his overseers.
The Llandinam parish registers record the marriage 31 January 1599/1600 of Robert Wilson “black” and Margaret Wilson “white”. (“Black”, “white”, and “red” were used in the registers to distinguish Wilson families.) This marriage is in the right time period for the parents of Ann, since Thomas and Ann Hall were having children in the 1630s.
