I), a history and genealogy of the founders of the Priory which names Bertha as a daughter of Miles: “...Qui comes Milo duxit in uxorem Sibillam, legitimam hæredem totius terræ Breconiæ, scilicet, Bernardi et Agnetis de Novo-Mercato: de qua genuit v. filios, scilicet, Rogerum comitem, Henricum, Walterum, Maiel, et Willielmum; et tres filias, scilicet, Margaretam, Bertam, et Luciam”.


Mother: Sibyl de Neufmarché. Married in 1121.
