This date is given by Bartrum (EVWG [20]) and by Lloyd (1:262). Annales Cambriæ (Williams p. 11) records the death under the year 811: “Eugem filius Margetiud moritur.” Brut y Tywysogion (William pp. 10-11) also has the death under 811: “And, a year after that, Owain, son of Maredudd, died.”
