Commentary

The mother of Andrew, Elizabeth, and Matthew is named "Elizabeth" in their baptism records, but I believe that she was identical with the Mary of this page. The Mary of this page was living with Andrew Breeze in 1841, and Andrew's son Andrew erected the gravestone to Mary and her husband Thomas "out of filial regard to their Memory". Elizabeth was perhaps an alternate name.
