Commentary
William’s parentage:
William is recorded in the Halesowen register as living in Ridgacre in the 1740s. This fits a 1716 Halesowen baptism:
William Pen son of John and Hanah Pen de Ridgacre Bapt Sept 22, 1716
The 1715 marriage in Halesowen of John Penn and Hannah Deeley indicates that Hannah’s maiden name was Deeley.
