Duncan was killed in battle by Macbeth. The date and place are given by Broun.

This relationship is given by Broun, by Woolf, and Baldwin. It is recorded in the Annals of Ulster (s.a. 1040), the Annals of Tigernach (s.a. 1040), and the Annals of Loch Cé (s.a. 1040).

Mother: Bethóc.

This relationship is given by Broun and Baldwin.


Spouse: Suthen.

She is named by Baldwin. MacQuarrie suggests that she was a daughter of Ywain, king of Strathclyde. Baldwin regards this as "very doubtful."


Children:


Malcolm III (died 13 November 1093) married (1) Ingibjorg Finnsdóttir about 1060; married (2) Margaret in 1070 or 1071. Malcolm was king of Scots from 1058 to 1093.
