He may have been related to the John Bishop of the wood, husbandman, who was buried in Cleobury Mortimer in 1631. Another possibility is the Richard Bishop of the Woodde, yeoman, who was buried in Neen Savage in 1622 and the Joan Bishop of the Woodd widow, buried shortly after.


Spouse: Joan Flanell. Married 19 September 1619 in Bridgnorth, St Leonard.
