The 1557 will of John Ledbrooke husbandman of Fenny Compton mentions his son Robert, but this may have been another Robert, a husbandman buried in Burton Dassett in 1597.

Spouse: Annis.

Robert’s will names his wife.

Children:

(Complete source citations for facts about the children on this page are currently outside of the scope of this project. Robert is called “Robert Ledbrooke the elder” in his burial record, although his will mentions no son named Robert. It is possible that “the elder” was added to distinguish him from a grandchild of that name.)

John Ledbrooke married Elizabeth Wagstaff 20 June 1592 in Burton Dassett.

William Ledbrooke (baptized 27 March 1575 in Burton Dassett - buried 2 April 1575 in Burton Dassett)
