Richard de Praers
Events
Date of Birth: about 1268.
Place of Birth: unknown.
Richard's age is given in an inquisition post mortem of his wife's father (CIPM Edw. I. vol. 4, no. 250). He is there said to be aged 36 in 32 Edward I.
Date of Death: probably (shortly) before 2 October 1335.
Place of Death: unknown.
The date is given by Hall (p. 26)
Relationships
supposed Father: Sir Randle de Praers.
This relationship is given by Ormerod (3:301) and by Hall (p. 25). However, the 1303 relief cited below seems to make clear that Richard was Randle's brother, not his son. If this is the case, then Thomas de Praers should be Richard's father.
Mother: unknown.
Spouse: Joan de Crewe.
This relationship is given by Ormerod (3:301). It is recorded in an inquisition post mortem of his wife's father (CIPM Edw. I. vol. 4, no. 250).
Children:
(Complete source citations for facts about the children on this page are currently outside of the scope of this project.)
Randle de Praers, lord of Barthomley.
Thomas de Praers married Margery.
