Commentary
In his 1590 will, Richard Beard of Standish named the two children of his son Henry Beard. This could be consistent with his being the father of the Henry of this page, but other names in the will do not line up with names mentioned in the 1601 will of William Beard of Standish, who was the brother of the Henry of this page. Therefore, Richard was likely not the father of the Henry of this page but rather of the other Henry who appears in the Standish register in the period.
