In the name of god amen the xvth day of August in the yeare of our lord 1617 I Silvester Knight of the p[ar]ishe of Standish in theCountie of Gloc’ beinge sicke in bodeye but of good & p[er]fect memorie thanckes be unto the Almightie god therefore doe co[n]stitute & ordayne this my laste will & testament in man[n]er & forme as followeth first I geve & bequeth my soule into the handes of Almightie god my Creator trustinge to obtayne marrye & to be saued through the merites death & passion of our lord & sauior Criste and my bodie unto Cristian buriall
Imprimis I giue and bequeth all my goodes either moveable or unmoueable unto my dauter Elizabeth Beard whom I doe make my whole executor Alsoe I give unto John Beard whom I request to be overseer of this my will xij d for his payn
