Commentary

One would like to know who the Alice Rose was, who was living with the family of William and Jane Rose Winstanley in 1841. The name, presumably, is significant. My current guess is that Alice was Jane's mother's sister, but had become Jane's guardian by the time of her baptism (which was more than three years after her birth).

It would also seem possible that Jane Rose Catterall and her mother, Margaret Catterall, were related to Elizabeth Catterall, Jane's mother-in-law (the mother of her husband William Winstanley). William's family, including his mother Elizabeth, was living in Vernon Street in 1806, as was Jane Rose.
