The date is given by Bartrum (Bleddyn ap Cynfyn 5). Lloyd (p. 12) states that Gruffudd was 6 in 1304. An inquisition taken 14 January 1320/21 (CIPM 6:no 256) states that Gruffudd was aged 22 and more from the feast of St. Clement (23 November) last.
