GRANT by William de Hapisford, chaplain, to William lord of Helisby [Helsby] and Hawisia his wife, and the heirs of the said William, of all the lands and tenements which the said William Lord of Helisby formerly gave and enfeoffed to him within the boundaries of HELISBY lying on both sides of the said vill of HELISBY, that is to say all that new ploughed land on the North lying in breadth between his wood called le Leywode and the field of the said vill and in length from the highway to Frodsham following the fence of the said plough to le Cnorvihurst and thus descending to Robert's bridge and then in breadth from the said bridge to the hedge of Le Heymor and in length from the said hedge of the Heymor following the field of the said vill of Helisby to the said highway to Frodsham, and all that new ploughed land on the West of the said vill lying in breadth from the assart of Richard de Hapisford his son in law to the wood towards Patfordissiche and in length from the moor of Helisby following the ditch of the said plough to the way of Horswelleruyding, and also one house and curtilage in the vill of HELISBY and 1½ selions in the fields of HELISBY with 1 meadow next to the spring (fontem), which said house, curtilage and land with the meadow he formerly bought of Margery daughter of Kylian de Helisby, and also his moiety of the mill which he has built with Henry son of Robert the Chamberlain of Frodisham on Leuyggisbroo with a meadow towards the bridge of Hapisford, which said meadow Robert son of Robert de Hapisford formerly held of him for life, at an annual rent of one clove at the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.
