In the inquisition post mortem of her father dated 21 July, 52 Henry III, it is stated that Alice was “aged 15 at the feast of St. Fredeswide last” (CIPM I: no. 670). Alice's father had died shortly before 19 March 1252.


Date of Death: 1328 or after.

Place of Death: unknown.

Alice is recorded as patron of the church at Hampton Poyle, Oxfordshire, in 1328 (The Gentleman’s Magazine 76:1:527).

Alice is recorded holding a knight’s fee of John de Sommery in Hoddecote and Ildesle, Berkshire 20 September, 16 Edward II (CIPM 6 no 428).
