The marriage is recorded in the parish register, but it is very hard to read. My reading is from Lancashire Online Parish Clerks, which gives her name as Elmes Dixson with a “sic” after Elmes.

Commentary
Ellen’s parentage
In his 1694 will, John Dixon of Prestwich, whitster, named his father, John Dixon, and his sister, Ellen Heape, and other siblings. The baptisms of the John who made the 1694 will and of his sisters Elizabeth and Mary appear in the Prestwich register between 1636/7 and 1642. Based on the order they are mentioned in his will, some other of John’s siblings, whose baptisms I have not located, were born before 1636 and others after 1642.
The Bolton parish register records the marriage in 1632 of John Dikson of Prestwich and Isabel Shippobothome of the parish of Bolton.
