James Molineux 1756 - 1837

Events

Date of Birth: about 1756.

Place of Birth: unknown (probably Standish Wood, Lancashire).

James’s 1837 burial record gives his age as 83, which would put his birth closer to about 1754, but the 1756 baptism is the only reasonable candidate which appears in indexes (FamilySearch, Ancestry.com, Lancashire OnLine Parish Clerks) in the Wigan area in the time period, and it would not be unusual in this time period for an age at death for an 81 year old to be recorded a couple of years too high.

Date of Baptism: 8 January 1756.

Place of Birth: Wigan, Lancashire (All Saints).

The baptism is recorded in the parish register.

Date of Burial: 26 February 1837.

Place of Burial: Wigan, Lancashire (All Saints).

The burial is recorded in the parish register.
