In the name of god amen. The vij day of Maye & in the xv yeare of the Reigne of our moste gracious sou[er]aigne ladye Elizabeth by the grace of god quene of England, France & Ireland defender of the fayth &c I Reginald Rychardson within the parish of Prisburye beinge in p[er]fecte mynde & memorye, for dyu[er]se good causes & consideracons me movinge do make my testament & last will in manner and forme folowinge. First I bequeth my soule to almightie god my maker & redimer & to al the holy compayny of heaven & my bodye to be buried in the christiaan buriall at dysley deane. It[e]m I will that my goodes at my decease, be devided equally into thrae seu[er]all p[ar]tes, that ys to witte one part for my selve an other p[ar]t for Elizabeth my wiffe & the thrid parte for my child[...] that ys to saye, Laurance Rychardson, Hugh Rychard[...] Elen Rychardson, & Cateren Rychardson to be equally devided amongest them foure/ As for Henery Ryc’son my sonne, because he hath had of me appeace of ground with certen goods, with the lesse & hinderance of his bretheren & sisters, my myd ys, that he haue no part nor p[ar]cell of the thrid part alreadye bequethed to my Children aboue named: but to the intent that he may be good to his brethren & sistars (as my trust ys in him) I geue him of my one part one cowe, & all my harnese with a plough & a harowe desireringe him (as he will haue my blessinge) to be good & favorable to his bretheren and sisters.
