Commentary
John’s parentage:
In her 1620 will, Elizabeth Berrow of Grimley named her son John and his two sons. Since the John Burrow of this page was living in Grimley in 1620 and had two sons at that date, it is clear that Elizabeth was referring to him. John was also named in the 1592 will of his father William Berrow of Grimley.
The burial entry for Elizabeth in the Grimley parish register calls her the “wife of William Berow deceased”.
