Ugo "Ebriaco"

Also known as Ugo da Parlascio.


Ugo was a citizen of the Republic of Pisa. He seems to be the first to be given the surname "Ebriaco". The surname "da Parlascio" comes from his residence. There were others with the surname "da Parlascio" who are not known to be related to Ugo.

Salvatori (p. 323, fn 14) quotes a charter from the archbishop's archives in Pisa: "Ermilla Ricia uxor Pauli quondam Ugonis Ebriaci", noting that Ugo Ebriaco was dead in 1136 and Paolo was alive in 1159 and dead in 1188.
