Today is nice, but now the snow is coming after midnight. I'm so ready for spring.

In Literature 9 we had a fun day reviewing vocabulary words. I so like it when we can do a few fun things and yet move forward with learning. We practiced a variety of study skills to remember our 30 vocabulary words. First we tried to divide them into groups. Our brain holds onto about seven things, so is there a way we can group the words into manageable numbers. Then we completed a SMART board review. We finished up with trying to make pictures from the words.

In English 10 we're working on grammar (direct objects, pred. adjectives, and pred. nominatives). We then went over a few vocabulary words. We're going to get started on our next speech tomorrow.

In American Government we discussed the State of the Union Address. We then finished up our discussion of the Senate. We reviewed the differences between the House and the Senate, and then it was time to see how we were doing - quiz.

In Law we finished up - for the most part Chapter 1. We had our presentations on Administrative Law. We then discussed case law and how laws conflict. We will be reviewing for the next day, and then the test will be on Friday.
