The windows are open, and the fresh air feels amazing. If I squint and tilt my head, I feel like I can see light at the end of the tunnel. No guarantees, but I think there is something there.
In Literature 9 we began discussing Theater of the Absurd. Absurd theater is just that - weird. We're reading "The Leader," which isn't as weird as you may think. Despite being written in the 1940's, it's extremely relevant today. Every time we read it, I want to direct this show again.
In English 10 we got several speeches out of the way. I learned how to sheer a sheep, change my oil, mix sugar cookies, plan a trip, and so much more. The students are doing a great job overall.
In American Literature we took our Age of Reason test. I didn't see too much smoke coming out of their ears, so hopefully it wasn't too bad. The Juniors need to remember to post to the novel forum. As of fifth hour today, only two people had posted. Not a good sign.
