I don't mean to, but I'm probably coming off crabby today. I guess my frustration level is lower than normal. I suppose everyone has those days, but I do apologize to those that I may have snapped at.
In English 10 we reviewed a few vocabulary words. We'll finish those up tomorrow and take the quiz on Friday. We will be taking our unit test over information speaking next week. In the meantime we heard several informative speeches. Remember that participation comes from the informative speeches' evaluations.
In American Government we reviewed delegated and implied powers. We then reviewed the expressed powers of the President. Time was given at the end of class to work on either the Constitution Tests or the Separation of Powers presentations. We won't see each other until next Monday, so time management is key.
In Literature 9 we were immersed in Edgar Allan Poe. We read a biography about his life and watched a mini-biography. Then we took a few minutes to get the definitions down for the five words. I tried to give a little time at the end of class to read the story "Cask of the Amontillado". There is a summarization worksheet to complete. We're going to continue to work with the skills summary vs. paraphrase.
I hope tomorrow my frustration bar is set a little higher. Happy Wednesday!
