Nothing like a two-hour late start to energize you. Too bad I never can sleep in! It does mess with lesson plans, however.
Literature 9 - Since we didn't have class, be sure that you have your "All God's Children Need Traveling Shoes" and the worksheet completed.
In English 10, we did our rapid-fire speeches for our first dive into persuasion. I really enjoyed listening to what you considered worthy of purchasing. We also worked on #1-4 of the pathos, ethos, and logos worksheet. For Monday work on your movie and book rapid-fire speech.
In American Literature, we only had 30 minutes to work with. We watched a good portion of The Crucible, and hopefully, we'll be able to finish by Tuesday. Everyone can begin working on their one-pagers for this play.
In Law, we played a little Kahoot in preparation for Monday's test. I then distributed a study guide. It seemed there was a lot of learnin' going on! There will be a test on Monday.
Have a great weekend! Good luck to the wrestlers and the basketball players.
