Ugly sweater day is one of my favorite "dress-up" days. Why? Because I get to wear a sweater my husband gave me on our first Christmas. Yep, my "ugly" sweater is over 32 years old!
In Literature 9 we finished our Whodunnits. I was so impressed as one group received 17 out of the 20 possible points (1 point for the guess, 3 points for the textual evidence). Several of the other groups had scores of 16, 12, and 10. I never do that well. Then everyone returned to their working groups and worked on the "Red-Headed League" worksheet. I think most people read the material. Tomorrow we will watch the episode from the BBC.
In English 10 we used today (and tomorrow) to work on our demonstration speeches. We will upload them to our YouTube channel and after Christmas we will watch each other's speeches and evaluate them then. We also finished the essay portion of our test.
In American Government we took our test over the legacy of our Founding Fathers. Some people seemed well-prepared, while others...hmmm....not so much. Also notebooks came in. For most this is always a good grade, but some really struggle keeping their papers organized and in order.
Have a great Wednesday! The sun is shining and the temperature is great!
