I know this is late, but I wanted to keep some kind of record of what was going on in my classroom while I was gone. Hopefully this will keep some kind of diary of the events of Room 111.
In Literature 9 they started with reviewing the persuasive techniques (Q4E'sR). Then they read the biography of Anna Quindlen on page 412. Next it was time to review the vocabulary. The rest of the class period was dedicated to reading her graduation essay.
In English 10 they were still working on partner speeches. Mrs. Meester was in charge of grading the remaining speeches.
In American Government they took a test over the Bill of Rights and the Amendments passed.
In Law they had a bell ringer that reviewed a court case. Then I made video over Iowa Courts. They should watch the video and complete the skeleton notes.
Mrs. Meester is a dedicated educator. I'm positive all is going well!
