Day 88, January 11, 2017 (Thursday)

I'm so glad that the bad weather predicted to arrive today decided to veer off in another direction. I will admit though that I was looking forward to sleeping in, but our speech team really needs to have today's practices.

In Literature 9 and American Literature, it was all about the Book Tasting. I can't believe Mrs. Hengeveld provided as many books as she did. It was awesome. My only problem - there are a lot of them I want to read myself. I think we found something for everyone. Everyone needs to have a book ready for the contract by tomorrow.

English 10 was also supposed to do the Book Tasting, but Mr. Helkenn came in and helped set up an account for our career readiness speech. We will tackle the book talk and contract tomorrow.

Today was a challenging day as I really felt like I was flying by the seat of my pants. Hopefully, I can find a few minutes, settle down, and relax. See you tomorrow!
