Returning to school and getting through the entire day was a little shock to the system. It'll take awhile to get used to being back in the saddle. Giddy-Up!

In Literature 9 we reviewed honorifics (Mr., Mrs., Miss, and Ms.). It was surprising how the rules of etiquette work with these titles. Then we worked on a classification assignment with the characters. The vocabulary for Chapters 16-20 was checked, and for the most part we did great. Tomorrow we'll pick up our reading once again.

In English 10 we watched the Balcony Scene as done by the Royal Shakespeare Company (so good). We analyzed the language and what these two lovers were saying to each other. Tomorrow we'll have a check over Scenes 1-2.

In American Government we basically watched commercials all period. We watched biographical commercials, as well as some of the most famous ads of all time. It's fun to watch how "marketing" a president evolved. We'll continue to work on our running a campaign. Hopefully on Friday, the entire period will be given to working on the campaign.

In Law we began our discussion of arrest and search warrants (probable cause). There are always issues with can they do this or can they do that, and I'm not always sure how to answer. We do have some lively debates though.
