So the groundhog saw his shadow..."yeah". I hope you can hear the sarcasm.
In Literature 9 (the only class where I had both sections) we got started on our study of "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." We discussed the vocabulary as well as the cause and effect structure. Tomorrow we're going to have our reading check over the material along studying the unusual words that James Thurber created.
In English 10 (only 8th period) we had a make-up speech. Then we looked at our surveys along with our shared outlines. Everything should be shared with Mrs. Sandbulte. Everyone eighth hour should be prepared to give their speeches. First hour, we won't start with speeches until Wednesday.
In American Government, the class periods were only 30 minutes long, were quite a speed lesson. We reviewed the responsibilities of Congressional leaders along with House of Representatives legislative processes. There will be a quiz on Wednesday.
In Law we discussed Constitutional Law and the Bill of Rights. We reviewed the Bill of Rights scenarios that were given last week. Tomorrow we're gong to have a quiz over the Bill of Rights as it is related to law.
Have a good (and warm) Monday!
