Wow, today went by very quickly. I'm sitting here at 5:00 PM and wondering where the day went.
In Literature 9 we had a wonderful time getting from being lazy to stranded on a desert island. It's like the cable commercials that start us out with no cable and your father getting hit in the stomach over a can of soup. Then we discussed the use of symbols in "The Scarlet Ibis". We're going to take some time tomorrow to create a project for the ABC's of the Scarlet Ibis.
In English 10 we started our review of the sentence basics. Some thought the review went o.k. while others used the adjective "ugly". We then discussed main motions and subsidiary motions. It is all quite interesting. I'm looking forward to our business meeting.
In American Government we finished our discussion of Congressional staff and support offices. We review the essay question and the requirements of paragraph writing. They were given the agenda for while I'm gone, and I think they will do great.
In law we finished our discussion of courts - trial and appellate. We reviewed using the SMART board, and then we went over the section reviews. Finally they took their 4-1 quiz. We'll start our conversation of the federal courts, specifically the Supreme Court tomorrow.
Happy Wednesday!
