I have to congratulate the Student Council on their amazing organization of Homecoming. The hallways look awesome, the lip sync was hysterical, and the dress-up days were fun. Great job!
In Literature 9 we started by answering a journal on traveling. This was to set up our next story "All God's Children Need Traveling Shoes." Maya Angelou believed that the more people travel the fewer differences we see between each other. We then reviewed the vocabulary related to this narrative essay. Finally for Monday, everyone is supposed to read the story and write down 10 key details.
In English 10 we reviewed five mythology presentations. Then we created surveys to gauge whether our audiences are positive, opposed, disinterested, or neutral. This information will tell us what kind of evidence is needed in our motivational speech.
In American Literature I had a few computer gliches, so I reviewed things related to prom. Then we finished "Adventures of a German Student" and then we moved onto "The Devil and Tom Walker." Everyone has a CLOSE to finish before class on Tuesday.
In Law we worked on statute law - criminal and civil. We first reviewed felony vs. misdemeanor, then we looked at issues and whether they were civil or criminal. I'm not sure if we have class tomorrow, but if we do, complete #4-5 of your packet.
Have a great Thursday! And come out to our Baked Potato Feed tomorrow night from 5:00 - 7:00 PM
