I'm still not necessarily in the swing of things, but it's definitely getting better.
In Literature 9 we did a quick review and then it was time for the unit test. I hope everyone did all right, I didn't see too much staring off into space. We'll finish the reading skills of the test on Monday.
In English 10 we finished up the Prologue - rhyme scheme, alliteration, and imagery. Then the rest of the class period was given to work on the Globe Virtual Tours.
In American Government we took a few moments to look at some key events in the news - Prime Minister's Trudeau's visit to the United States (Canada) and the death of Nancy Reagan. We then went over the scavenger hunt answers, and finally we started our Cabinet meeting - which program absolutely needs to be funded in the upcoming budget.
In Law we went from probate court to child prodigy to death to Jesus. Don't ask me, but it caused a good laugh in all of us. Our test over Chapter 4 is on Monday. What a great class!
Ballots are filled out, everyone has been practicing (I hope), and the van is about to be loaded. Tomorrow will officially end the speech season - my last. I hope everyone does their best - that's all anyone can ask for!
