Constitution Day!!! Today is the day we celebrate the adaption of one of the most significant documents in United States history and dare I say, the world. I realize that it is officially Constitution Day, but I haven't in the past done anything to commemorate this day. This is something that maybe I should think of instituting.
In English II we spent most of the class period reviewing the main terms, concepts, and objectives in our first unit. We reviewed the answers to the propaganda activity we worked on for Monday and Tuesday. This unit test is very important to many, so take time to study. There are study aids on Moodle. Also don't forget to workon your own review.
In American Government we shared our short videos on governmental types. It was really fun to see what others created using the website Explee. Some used Photostory, and that's o.k. Then we reviewed what an oligarchy is, the two types of democracy (direct and indirect), and then both the presidential and parliamentary governments. We rushed through a theocracy and anarchy, but hopefully we can review them a little better on Friday.
In Literature 9 we filled out a Traveling Journal. I really love to travel, and these questions are there to see how many students are interesting in nation or international travel. We then took a check over "All God's Children Need Traveling Shoes." I think some people are still struggling with their reading comprehension. It might be time to change up how we do this. Then we went over the vocabulary words. Tomorrow we're going to complete a lesson, and if I have the time, I will correct notebooks. It could be a l-o-n-g night of correcting (after play practice!)
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
