These last few days have been crazy - prom, new baby, and I'm sorry I haven't stayed caught up with the blog. I'm going to do my best to remember what happened on each of the days.

In Literature 9 we only had first hour. Mrs. Negus had everyone take Chapter 17 Reading Check. Then as a class you read Chapter 18. Then it was to the evidence chart. You will take Chapter 18 Reading Check on Monday.

In English 10 Mrs. Negus and I switched off. Everyone read Act III, Scene 5. This is the scene between Romeo and Juliet (the morning after!). There was discussion of the symbolism of the birds - nightingale vs. the lark. Also the complications from dear old Lady and Lord Capulet. Poor Juliet - so caught between the forces of fate.

In American Literature - we decorated for prom!

That's Friday. Let's hope I can remember Monday and Tuesday's events!
