Waking up to a lot of snow this morning, but we managed to have a full day of school.
In Literature 9 we moved on our with our discussion of Chapter 2. We are doing well with our vocabulary obligations. After our check, we had a good discussion. For tomorrow read Chapter 3 (and don't forget that vocabulary!)
In English 10 we reviewed location of prepositional phrases. Then it was business meeting two. We're really getting into the swing of parliamentary procedure. Tomorrow the vocabulary is due, and on Friday we're going to take our test over persuasion and parliamentary procedure.
The many obligations of a Congressman/Senator was the focus of Government. We reviewed a web that could be used to write the essay question. It is due prior to the test on Friday. We then finished discussing the support agencies found in Congress. They included the Library of Congress, Congressional Budget Office, General Accountability Office, and the Governmental Printing Office.
In Law we started a mediation exercise, but because a few people were absent so we're saving it for tomorrow. We then discussed the various levels of federal courts (trial, appellate, and Supreme Court).
