Thursday went by so fast. I swear I was just getting out of bed this morning, and now the day is nearly over. Holy cow, time can really fly when you're having fun!
In English 10 we're still listening to those amazing demonstration speeches. I heard some great ones on video games (although I probably will never play any of them), how to create a good fire prevention plan, and how to ask someone out. I think I'll use those helpful hints to ask a certain someone out for Friday night.
In American Literature we finally were able to get together for a full class period. We worked on the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. We watched Red Skelton's rendition of the Pledge and watched Whitney Houston's amazing performance of the national anthem. We then proved that we know the words with a quiz. It looks like we have some very patriotic juniors.
In Literature 9 we worked on our prediction skills with the story "Most Dangerous Game," then during class we tried to get the rest of this long story read.
Tomorrow is Friday! Yeah!!!
