Ah, I'm so much happier when the sun is shining and the temperature is warm.
In Literature 9 we struggled first hour since so many people were gone for various trips or illnesses. I adjusted the lesson for today based on the numbers present. We reviewed the vocabulary words for these chapters. We took our check over Chapter 24. In eighth hour we will continue with the originally scheduled lesson :-) We reviewed the various "tones" used by the ladies of the Missionary Tea. We will get very close to finishing the novel this week. I hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as I have (for the 99th time!).
In English 10 we basically read Act V most of the class period. We got to within one to two pages from the end. Without a doubt we will finish the play this week and our test will either be Thursday or Friday. I'm so pleased with how everyone is enjoying the play. Hopefully everyone is also working on their final projects.
In American Literature we had about a 10 minute review of Romanticism qualities, the elements found in author's style, and then we reviewed Poe, Dickinson, and Whitman. Everyone then took their test. I didn't see anyone crying or gnashing of their teeth, so hopefully it assessed the information we studied.
In Law we also reviewed very quickly the criminal unit. Then they too took their test. Again no gnashing or cursing, so hopefully some learnin' went on here as well.
Enjoy the beautiful weather! I hope a lot of you come to the Awards Night.
