Today was so chaotic - a four day week, the matinee, and catching up on grades and homework. I'm looking forward to this weekend and the play.
In Literature 9 we worked on our Point of View workshop. Then we completed a vocabulary lesson over the words from "Gift of the Magi" and "Sweet Potato Pie". Have a great weekend.
In English 10 (I wasn't there, so I'm hoping this is what happened), everyone was to take a few minutes and review the words, and then they too had a vocabulary test. It really must be the day for vocabulary.
In American Literature we reviewed the information from our Puritan unit - Mayflower, William Bradford, Edward Winslow, the New England primer, Anne Bradstreet, Jonathon Edwards, and The Crucible. It seems like we've been on this unit forever, but I do believe we now understand how to read and gather information from primary documents. Test on Monday.
Have a great three day weekend! And come to the play --- it will be a blast!
