In Literature 9 both classes have now finished the book. We are working on talking about the themes and issues presented in the book. The discussion is great, and I truly look forward to the students seeing the beauty and wisdom behind this wonderful novel.

In English 10 we had some technology issues, then I realized that I was the technology issue. We finished discussing Act III, and we took a quick quiz. We're going to try and finish Act IV, so that we have time to still watch the movie. What is it with this class that we never get to watch the accompanying movie!

In American Literature we reviewed the beauty of Carl Sandburg. He really was underappreciated. I distributed the packets related to their "Lost Generation" project. Each is to read the story assigned to the particular author chosen.

In law we discussed the defenses to torts. We went over the sequence found in a tort trial. I don't know what my days will look like when I don't have law. I really enjoy these four students.
